Detlef Hegemann Foundation since 1994 Detlef Hegemann established the non-profit Detlef Hegemann Foundation in 1994 with the aim of promoting the training of civil and naval architects as well as the promotion of cultural and sporting objectives, in particular those of dance sports. STIPENDIUM Every year, the Detlef Hegemann Foundation also supports particularly committed young people through the Germany Scholarship of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and thus supports their path to a professional future. The chance to receive a scholarship is based on previous outstanding achievements and a convincing application to Bremen University of Applied Sciences. Ursula Hegemann Foundation since 2004 Ursula Hegemann, Detlef Hegemann’s wife, did the same 10 years later and founded the non-profit Ursula Hegemann Foundation in 2004, which promotes education and training, sport (especially dance sport), animal welfare and animal breeding.
