The Forst cycling track has exis\u00adted since 1906 and has an open con\u00adcrete track over 400 meters long. Stand-up races and GDR cham\u00adpi\u00adon\u00adships have been held on it ever since. In 1932, the film \u201cStrich durch die Rech\u00adnung\u201d with Heinz R\u00fch\u00admann was shot on the track.
The track was last reno\u00adva\u00adted bet\u00adween 1992 and 1994 at a cost of DM 1.4 mil\u00adlion. The track is curr\u00adently being reno\u00adva\u00adted or rene\u00adwed again by the town of Forst as part of a fede\u00adral pro\u00adgram \u201cReno\u00adva\u00adtion of muni\u00adci\u00adpal faci\u00adli\u00adties in the areas of sport, youth and cul\u00adture\u201d, in which com\u00adple\u00adtely new, rein\u00adforced
con\u00adcrete slabs are being laid on top of the exis\u00adting con\u00adcrete slabs. The two steep bends on the long sides with a gra\u00addi\u00adent of up to 69% pro\u00adved to be par\u00adti\u00adcu\u00adlarly difficult. <\/p>\n\n

The con\u00ads\u00adtruc\u00adtion com\u00adpany Gerd M\u00fcl\u00adler GmbH, which was com\u00admis\u00adsio\u00adned with the con\u00ads\u00adtruc\u00adtion pro\u00adject, made seve\u00adral attempts in advance to con\u00adcre\u00adting con\u00adven\u00adtio\u00adnally as close as pos\u00adsi\u00adble to these steep bends and also to pla\u00adcing the con\u00adcrete using a hand-gui\u00added wet spray\u00ading machine. Finally, tog\u00ade\u00adther with August Rei\u00adners Bau\u00adun\u00adter\u00adneh\u00admung GmbH, fur\u00adther tests were car\u00adried out with the Putz\u00admeis\u00adter SPM 500 con\u00adcrete spray\u00ading sys\u00adtem used in tun\u00adnel construction. <\/p>\n\n

The use of the SPM 500 and impro\u00adve\u00adments to the shot\u00adcrete mix, as well as the fur\u00adther deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment of a con\u00adven\u00adtio\u00adnal screed by con\u00ads\u00adtruc\u00adtion com\u00adpany Gerd M\u00fcl\u00adler GmbH, made it pos\u00adsi\u00adble to con\u00adcrete the steep areas in such a way that the sur\u00adface pro\u00advi\u00added a good sub\u00adstrate for the final sur\u00adface pro\u00adtec\u00adtion system. <\/p>\n\n
