To improve the attrac\u00adti\u00adve\u00adness of public trans\u00adport, the state capi\u00adtal of Munich is exten\u00adding the U5 sub\u00adway line from the exis\u00adting ter\u00admi\u00adnus at Lai\u00admer Platz to Pasing sta\u00adtion. In Decem\u00adber 2021, BIEGE AUGUST REINERS \/ Ber\u00adger Bau \/ Ber\u00adger Grund\u00adbau\u00adtech\u00adnik was com\u00admis\u00adsio\u00adned with the shell con\u00ads\u00adtruc\u00adtion work for con\u00ads\u00adtruc\u00adtion lot 1. <\/p>\n\n

Lot 1 com\u00adpri\u00adses the sec\u00adtion from Lai\u00admer Platz sta\u00adtion to the new Wil\u00adli\u00adbald\u00adstra\u00dfe stop. Lot 1 is loca\u00adted in the Laim & Pasing dis\u00adtricts and runs par\u00adal\u00adlel to Gott\u00adhard\u00adstra\u00dfe in an east-west direc\u00adtion through an area with resi\u00adden\u00adtial buildings <\/p>\n\n

Over a length of approx. 1000 m, the future route will be con\u00ads\u00adtruc\u00adted using the dia\u00adphragm wall\/cover method. In addi\u00adtion to the dou\u00adble-track line tun\u00adnel, a three-track stab\u00adling faci\u00adlity and the Wil\u00adli\u00adbald\u00adstra\u00dfe sta\u00adtion will also be accom\u00admo\u00adda\u00adted within the sin\u00adgle-cell box cross-sec\u00adtion. The span of the 2.20 m thick struc\u00adture cover thus varies bet\u00adween 16.00 & 23.00 m. In the area of the Wil\u00adli\u00adbald\u00adstra\u00dfe sta\u00adtion, mez\u00adza\u00adnine flo\u00adors and ser\u00advice rooms are to be built under\u00adneath the cover. The widening area to the west of Wil\u00adli\u00adbald\u00adstra\u00dfe sta\u00adtion will be con\u00ads\u00adtruc\u00adted using the cut-and-cover method. <\/p>\n\n

The entire route runs below the ground\u00adwa\u00adter level. In addi\u00adtion to the com\u00adplex ground\u00adwa\u00adter manage\u00adment during con\u00ads\u00adtruc\u00adtion, a total of 9 ground\u00adwa\u00adter cul\u00adverts must be built for the final state. These will be con\u00ads\u00adtruc\u00adted using bored piles adja\u00adcent to the dia\u00adphragm wall trough. <\/p>\n\n

Due to the inner-city loca\u00adtion and the tight local con\u00addi\u00adti\u00adons asso\u00adcia\u00adted with this, prov. sewers and branch lines have to be built and relo\u00adca\u00adted again and again par\u00adal\u00adlel to the shell con\u00ads\u00adtruc\u00adtion work. <\/p>\n\n

In order to pro\u00adtect the exis\u00adting buil\u00addings from severe defor\u00adma\u00adtion and asso\u00adcia\u00adted damage, the exis\u00adting foun\u00adda\u00adti\u00adons have to be under\u00adpin\u00adned over a length of approx. 400 m using jet grouting.<\/p>\n\n
