It beg\u00adins directly after the Hall\u00adschlag stop (tran\u00adsi\u00adtion from the 2nd sec\u00adtion to the 3rd sec\u00adtion) and initi\u00adally runs along L\u00f6wen\u00adtor\u00adstra\u00dfe, pas\u00adses under the freight bypass and ends at the sou\u00adthern abut\u00adment of the Aubr\u00fc\u00adcke bridge where it joins the exis\u00adting net\u00adwork. The sub\u00adsoil has a rapidly chan\u00adging and very varied struc\u00adture: The first few meters con\u00adsist of arti\u00adfi\u00adcial fill ever\u00ady\u00adwhere, fol\u00adlo\u00adwed by locally hete\u00adro\u00adge\u00adneous silt\/sand mix\u00adtures. In the area of the old \u201cKlei\u00adnes Feldle\u201d land\u00adfill, there was also a clay pit whose fill (at least 15 m thick) con\u00adsis\u00adted lar\u00adgely of excava\u00adted buil\u00adding pit mate\u00adrial, quarry spoil, buil\u00adding rub\u00adble and waste. Adja\u00adcent to the clay pit to the north-east was a quarry where tra\u00adver\u00adtine was quar\u00adried in the past. The back\u00adfill of the quarry also con\u00adsists mainly of over\u00adbur\u00adden material.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 200 m long tun\u00adnel sec\u00adtion was built using the mining method. The dou\u00adble-track stan\u00addard cross-sec\u00adtion has a clear width of 9.20 m and a clear height of 7.43 m. The inner shell of water\u00adproof con\u00adcrete is also 40 cm thick. The mined tun\u00adnel was excava\u00adted from an open excava\u00adtion pit in the area of the nor\u00adt\u00adhern tun\u00adnel sec\u00adtion, ascen\u00adding in a sou\u00adt\u00adherly direc\u00adtion. The stop was pro\u00adtec\u00adted by a bored pile wall. In the course of the drive, the rail\u00adroad embank\u00adment of the DB line 4720 Unter\u00adt\u00fcrk\u00adheim \u2014 Korn\u00adwest\u00adheim was crossed under\u00adneath with an over\u00adbur\u00adden of 8.00 \u2014 10.00 meters. Fur\u00adther\u00admore, the entire mined tun\u00adnel was built using a clo\u00adsed con\u00ads\u00adtruc\u00adtion method with a vaul\u00adted cross-section.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dri\u00adving and sup\u00adport were also car\u00adried out using the shot\u00adcrete con\u00ads\u00adtruc\u00adtion method; the drive was car\u00adried out in par\u00adtial cross-sec\u00adtions as an elm tun\u00adnel drive. The main sup\u00adport ele\u00adments were rein\u00adforced shot\u00adcrete and steel sup\u00adport arches; in addi\u00adtion, due to the rela\u00adtively unfa\u00advorable ground con\u00addi\u00adti\u00adons, spi\u00adles and pipe umbrel\u00adlas were used as advance sup\u00adport. In addi\u00adtion, the face was secu\u00adred using shot\u00adcrete and face anchors. In the area of the stop wall, a pipe umbrella was inser\u00adted from the excava\u00adtion pit, and a Car\u00adin\u00adthian cover was instal\u00adled in the area of the cut-through
