AUGUST REINERS has rea\u00adched a major inte\u00adrim mile\u00adstone at the Ham\u00adburg Har\u00adbor Rail\u00adway Tun\u00adnel. With the par\u00adtial dis\u00admant\u00adling of the bored pile wall along the rail line, the par\u00adtial breakth\u00adrough from west to east has been achie\u00adved. For the first time, there is now a con\u00adti\u00adnuous line of sight from the eas\u00adtern excava\u00adtion pit into the wes\u00adtern sec\u00adtion of the tunnel. <\/p>\n\n
The struc\u00adture is being built as part of the A26 fede\u00adral high\u00adway (Con\u00ads\u00adtruc\u00adtion Lot 4.2) as an under\u00adpass beneath the Ham\u00adburg Har\u00adbor Rail\u00adway. It is being con\u00ads\u00adtruc\u00adted using the cut-and-cover method as a two-cell frame, with AUGUST REINERS car\u00adry\u00ading out the work as part of the ARGE Hafen\u00adbahn\u00adtun\u00adnel Ham\u00adburg con\u00adsor\u00adtium. Of the tun\u00adnel sec\u00adtions to be built, 172 meters have alre\u00adady been completed. <\/p>\n\n
In the upco\u00adming con\u00ads\u00adtruc\u00adtion pha\u00adses, a sub\u00admer\u00adged con\u00adcrete floor with a volume of appro\u00adxi\u00adm\u00adately 7,825 m\u00b3 will be pou\u00adred in the appro\u00adxi\u00adm\u00adately 5,215 m\u00b2 excava\u00adtion pit on the east side, before con\u00ads\u00adtruc\u00adtion pro\u00adceeds on the remai\u00adning appro\u00adxi\u00adm\u00adately 108 m of tun\u00adnel and an ope\u00adra\u00adti\u00adons building. <\/p>\n\n
This mile\u00adstone is the result of close and solu\u00adtion-ori\u00aden\u00adted col\u00adla\u00adbo\u00adra\u00adtion among all pro\u00adject par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpants.
