AUGUST REINERS Bau­un­ter­neh­mung GmbH imple­men­ted the PPP pro­ject “Repla­ce­ment con­s­truc­tion of Salz­hau­sen ele­men­tary school” tog­e­ther with Gün­ter Effin­ger Bau­aus­füh­run­gen GmbH & Co.

The con­cept of the archi­tec­tu­ral firm Feld­sch­nie­ders + Kis­ter from Bre­men made it pos­si­ble to divide the Salz­hau­sen ele­men­tary school into so-cal­led clus­ters, which com­pri­sed seve­ral class units with group rooms as well as “mar­ket­places” that could be used for school pur­po­ses. These clus­ters also had direct exits to the out­side from each floor. In this buil­ding pro­ject, a ter­ra­ced new buil­ding was con­s­truc­ted, which included a usable inner cour­ty­ard and blen­ded har­mo­niously into the ter­rain of the hill on which the ele­men­tary school was built.
