Ber­li­ner Ver­kehrs­be­triebe (BVG) is actively sha­ping the tran­si­tion to sus­tainable mobi­lity. New depots are nee­ded to con­vert the bus fleet to elec­tric ope­ra­tion. In the south-east of Ber­lin, two indi­vi­dual sites are being rea­li­zed on Köpe­ni­cker Land­straße and Rum­mels­bur­ger Landstraße. 

As a joint ven­ture (ARGE) with Bleck & Söhne Hoch- und Tief­bau GmbH, we have been awarded the con­tract for lot 5 of the BVG. AUGUST REINERS Bau­un­ter­neh­mung GmbH pro­vi­des the tech­ni­cal manage­ment and Bleck & Söhne Hoch- und Tief­bau GmbH the com­mer­cial management. 

Lot 5 invol­ves the con­s­truc­tion of the “Trep­tow depot” (pre­viously: Süd-Ost depot) in Ber­lin-Köpe­nick for BVG. This invol­ves the turn­key con­s­truc­tion of an elec­tric bus depot at Köpe­ni­cker Land­straße 297 directly on the River Spree. The site for the new depot in Köpe­ni­cker Land­straße (KLS) is around 44,000 m² in size. 

Our scope of ser­vices includes the con­s­truc­tion of a new admi­nis­tra­tion buil­ding, a par­king garage, a work­shop com­plex with a secu­rity and ser­vice hall and ancil­lary work­shops, a waste coll­ec­tion point and a fire water pum­ping sta­tion. In addi­tion, we are imple­men­ting the tech­ni­cal equip­ment for other tech­ni­cal buildings. 

For the admi­nis­tra­tion buil­ding at the KLS site, a cer­ti­fi­ca­tion pro­cess in accordance with the BVG’s Sus­tainable Buil­ding Assess­ment Sys­tem (BNB) is plan­ned. The aim is to achieve the sil­ver stan­dard. Accor­ding to BVG, around 200 e‑buses will be loa­ded and ser­viced at Köpe­ni­cker Land­straße from 2027 and around 600 employees will be working on the site.
