In the Braun­schweig-Wolfs­burg Rese­arch Air­port indus­trial park, we car­ried out the pipe­line con­s­truc­tion work for the dis­trict hea­ting dis­tri­bu­tion and buil­ding con­nec­tion lines at the Her­mann-Blenk-Straße pro­perty on behalf of Braun­schwei­ger Netz GmbH (BS|NETZ). The pro­ject invol­ved the con­s­truc­tion of an appro­xi­m­ately 259-meter-long KMR DN 125/225 dis­tri­bu­tion line to ensure sup­ply to the wes­tern sec­tion of the site, as well as an appro­xi­m­ately 63-meter-long KMR DN 80/160 buil­ding ser­vice line lea­ding to the hea­ting plant. 

Spe­cial chal­lenges arose from the project’s loca­tion on the hea­vily traf­fi­cked Her­mann-Blenk-Straße, which included an under­pass, mul­ti­ple con­s­truc­tion pha­ses, traf­fic safety mea­su­res, uti­lity line pro­tec­tion, and close coor­di­na­tion with traf­fic aut­ho­ri­ties, the fire depart­ment, uti­lity pro­vi­ders, and con­cur­rent con­s­truc­tion pro­jects. Thanks to pre­cise exe­cu­tion and coor­di­na­ted con­s­truc­tion pro­ces­ses, uti­lity con­nec­tions for the new buil­ding were instal­led properly.
