The city of Osterholz-Scharmbeck plans to build a new replacement facility for the IGS in Osterholz-Scharmbeck/Buschhausen and awarded the contract to the consortium in the second quarter.

The new replacement building for the IGS Osterholz-Scharmbeck is designed as a 4‑track school, with the option to expand to 5 tracks. The building will take the form of a compact, two-story structure with an additional staggered story. In accordance with the latest educational and structural standards, the new building will be bright, open, and modern in design. The construction will combine environmental sustainability, modern architecture, and functional flexibility.
