Magnificent neoclassical-style buildings were built in the Baltic seaside resort of Heiligendamm in the 19th century. This is where the name “White Town by the Sea”, which is used for Heiligendamm, comes from. The Villa Perle was originally built in 1853–54 and was finally demolished in 2007. From 2010 to 2012, AUGUST REINERS Bauunternehmung GmbH carried out the shell construction work to reconstruct the impressive building.
